Moving on from making hats and rave clothing, Liz opened her first Religion Shop on Park Row, followed by Perry Road and then Cheltenham Road in Bristol. The ground breaking nature of the clothing in her stores and her fun fetish club night Spank meant that she was often included in TV programmes about Bristol fashion and the club scene - including Jean Paul Gaultier’s Eurotrash and Janet Street Porter and Adamski’s magazine youth programme.
